Time as Constant
Conceptual Calendar
The idea for this calendar was that time
is the constant part of life through which everything else flows through and around. While some parts of life seem to move fast and others slow, time remains consistent.
The idea behind the calendar is illustrated first by placing the year into a block of days, seperated by months and started by the year. To further the concept, each was then given a three digit value. The final product is organized into ten equal rows.
The calendar block was then screenprinted onto three different hand painted designs fire, water, and wind. All of these designs represent the ever changing elements of life and mark a stark contrast against the continual ticking of the clock.
